@wittywallflower - depends where you are in Edinburgh, tbh - I’ve noticed a difference moving from the south side of town (inland, further south, obv) to living 5 minutes walk from the water of Leith. (Less snow, less frost, more wind) Temp change too; 45 minutes to the south by car, and they were 5 degrees warmer.
