He is so ridiculously and effortlessly and naturally sexy in this shoot. It’s fucking painful.
siren_kitten_his I can’t disagree. This was always my favourite shoot, and these newly released pics just reinforce that. I don’t think he’s even trying either!
This one and the dirty truck stop hooker are my favorites and the Esquire shoot where he just oozes Professor Evans.

Always reblog Chris Evans soft core photos.
What i love about that particular photo is that even with his boxers THAT LOW on his hips, there is still weight being cupped by the fabric that far down…
those are actually really tight sweats or some other type of long underwear. I always thought it was briefs until i saw a photo from this where it’s very clearly pants
ohmygod
It’s too early for this.

For every movie you book, there are dozens of rejections. And that can play on you, so you start to kinda put pressure on yourself. Sometimes you go through stints of really good auditions, really solid auditions, being like, “I’m good!” Other times, man, I feel like I forget how to act and then you’re on shaky ground every time you you step in the room. – Chris Evans

Chris Evans behind the scenes of the May 2016 Rolling Stone shoot
the tags on this were utter gems so here are some of my faves
Essay time y’all – cause these tags are truth. But one of my FAVORITE (and by favorite I mean the reason so many of his pictures fucking enthrall me) things about the way either he poses or the photographers pose him is that that the default for him doesn’t tend to be the WALL OF MAN imposing/daring someone to fuck with him poses that most photographers position men in, especially men who play superheroes. Far more often you see him posed as photographers often pose women – S-curves (trace a line from shoulders to hips to waist to knees in that pic - it’s a feminine way to pose), shoulders slightly hunched forward, looking at the camera through his eyelashes, mouth slightly open. They pose him to invite the viewer in instead of projecting out. The way they pose him is a type of masculinity that isn’t trying so fucking hard and y’all my LOINS ARE HERE FOR IT.
When I try to describe the type of masculinity that I find fucking appealing, it’s this.
(Look… y’all… if you haven’t seen his truckstop hooker photos from way back, do your loins a favor and find them)

“did chris evans actually jump that high to grab onto that helicopter in civil war?”
friendly reminder that chris vaulted with ease over chris pratt after just telling him less than a minute before that he would be able to clear him if he only put his head down.
I want a Celebrity Obstacle Course show where all the pretty people can show off their hard stunt work for us and also occasionally eat it, because they need to be humbled sometimes. The judges would be career stunt people, to give them visibility, because they work even harder. Shirts optional.
You wouldn’t even finish the phrase “Celebrity Ninja Warrior” before Chris would start jumping up and doing yelling “Me! Me! Pick me!”
Anyone know how to contact Netflix about this?
friendly reminder Chris did most of his stunts bc the stunt guys couldn’t move like him.
“One thing we found, too, is Chris can run very fast. He also has a very unique run. It’s almost a dancer’s run. And when we tried to double him for running, there was nobody who could run like him. They just didn’t have the same dynamics or the way he moves. He had to end up doing most of his running.”
“What we also found, is that we had gymnasts come in to do things, and Chris could do the same stuff that they could do, but it would look like Chris Evans. When the body doubles or the gymnasts or the runners did it, it just didn’t look like him. He has such a unique way of moving, and he could pretty much do all of his own physical stuff that wasn’t dangerous. Like this shot right here, we had a gymnast do this, and Chris actually ended up doing it better. That’s Chris here. He hops up on a tank and over a 12-foot wall. It looks effortless but it’s not that easy!”
“Chris worked his butt off for four months doing gymnastics and stunt training so in a scene like this he could go toe-to-toe with Georges St-Pierre and make it look really credible. Once the helmet comes off, 95% of that is Chris, except obviously for that massive aerial kick that he does. I think he did a fantastic job.”

The really cool thing about Chris Evans is that he’s a super talented, athletic guy. He retains things amazingly well. I mean, I’m blown away. I can show him a 15-punch fight two times, and he’s got it. - Thomas Harper, Stunt Coordinator, CATWS

ok this clearly exists in the same universe as chris evan’s flaunt shoot.
tom is the leather apron wearing weirdo who is clearly into some kinky
shit and also is having car trouble, chris is the sexy mechanic whose
shirt?? keeps falling off??, together they fight crime in a world of grimy interiors and blue and red lightbulbs
AND THEN THEY MAKE OUT. IN THE RAIN.

For me, it’s just y’know.. very noisy brain, ssh. That’s not quitting, that’s not giving up, that’s not forfeiting. It’s surrendering. When you use the word surrender, you remember that there was a fight going on. There was a fight in my brain, an unnecessary battle that I’m fighting with myself. So just kind of.. ssh.. surrender a little bit and you’ll have a flash of something real nice. And then your brain will quickly try and understand it, and it’ll never be able to and it’ll be this horrible cycle. But you’ll feel it, and you’ll want it again.
I really dig that he talks about this.
@copperbadge
One of the reasons I’m so fond of Chris Evans as a person without actually knowing him is that he does talk about this – and in some ways that he experiences it. It makes him seem a little more human than a lot of stars, because he has these experiences and he’s upfront about them. And (at least hopefully) he’s given other people permission to be upfront about them too – I can’t imagine RDJ would talk about that if he hadn’t cleared it with Evans beforehand.
I think it was David Duchovny back in the 90s who gave an interview about how he doesn’t like to talk about his personal life because he feels there’s a finite amount you can give away before there’s nothing left, and in some ways I think that’s true. But I also think that this specific kind of thing, if you give it away, gains you more in the long run. Not just because it helps other people to see that this happens even to famous movie stars but also because it helps to remove the stigma of it, which helps everyone.
So I mean, he may be talking about it for no other reason than that it’s therapeutic for him, but he’s doing good work for people who feel the same way but thought they were alone, or that it wasn’t something that could be talked about.
