Shadowhunters seasons 1-2: Matthew Daddario has an adorable way of saying “something”
So, um, we already knew that I’m much too fond of the way Matt says “something”. And to prove just how fond, here’s a video of every time he does it on the show.
Thank you so much to whoever made these episode transcripts, they were immensely helpful!
I’m thinking of making a second video of interviews and so on, but I’d need help in that case, because there are no transcripts of those…
And like I said on YouTube, I’m an ESL speaker and my pronunciation of pretty much everything is guaranteed worse than his, so this isn’t mockery, it’s fannishness. :-)
wierdly, it’s almost scottish….not that Matt sounds Scottish at all, but the lazy slurring of the word - in some of the clips t’s almost ‘su’-ing’ - sounds like me talking to some of my friends. I find it funny that when he’s starting a sentence or stressing the word, he says it ‘properly’, it’s when it’s in casual speech that he starts dropping his consonants. It’s very sweet.
