The homie Drea dragged the hell outta Sense8 for its racism, homophobia and cissexism and I am alive.
This is a fantastic piece on Sense8′s MANY problems and it goes in-depth on how the Wachowski sisters actually drop the ball on positive representation (like with race… oh boy) in the show.
If you didn’t get why people thought Sense8 wasn’t the perfect progressive show folks presented it as, read this article. Heck, no matter how you feel, just read this article because it goes in HARD on all of the series’ issues.
