stolenbag:
This is a long shot, but that’s pretty much all I have left right now.
When I went to San Diego Comic Con, I camped out overnight to get into Hall H to see the Marvel movies panel. While I was sleeping, my purse was stolen. It had my wallet, my iPod, a book, a phone charger, and collectible pins I’d been saving since SDCC last year.
I’m not naive. I understand the money is gone, and the iPod, too. I’ve been working to replace the contents of the wallet; I’m getting another copy of the book.
But I collaged the bag myself. And I collaged the wallet. They’re one-of-a-kind and irreplaceable, not just because I have to find all the bags and comics I used, but because I put a LOT of time and effort and love into making them.
The pins are less one-of-a-kind, obviously, but I’d been collecting them for a year now, and they really have no value outside of nerd culture.
Probably whoever stole them just tossed them. But on the off chance they didn’t, or maybe if someone got it from them not knowing it’s stolen, I’m hoping I might get some of my things back.
I will pay you for the return of my stuff, no questions asked.
Reblogs appreciated, and if I find anything out, I will edit the info into this post.
