HEDGE MUSTARD!

Medlar, a fruit which is rotten before it’s ripe and slangily (is that a word?) called “open arse”. Famously used by Chaucer and Shakespeare in the very sense you’re thinking of.

….but the summer calendar ends on the 16th of September and the autumn calendar picks back up again on the 22nd of September.

My birthday is the 20th of September.

Roller. Which, clicking on the wiki page, has a picture of a ‘12 foot smooth roller’.

I could only wish I was that.

how-do-i-turn-this-thing-off:

So there’s A LOT of meta on this, but here’s a small part of it.

Practically speaking, healing a lightsaber crystal turns it white.  It’s happened only once that I know of, but it is possible, and since Anakin’s crystal was literally ripped in half that’s one potential way to save the situation.

In ‘Clone Wars’ Ahsoka’s sabers were white.  There was a lot of speculation about why, so much that director Dave Filoni directly addressed it, saying it was meant to signal Ahsoka’s disassociation from the Jedi Order, since she’s not a Jedi anymore at that time.

White sabers can also be used by very elderly Jedi who don’t fight anymore; in other words, another type of disassociation.

BUT THE REALLY INTERESTING white saber users were the Imperial Knights of the Fel Empire.  All of the Knights were Force users, considered Gray by the Jedi Order because though they leaned generally light they didn’t mind using dark side powers time to time.  The Knights were sworn to the Force as embodied by their Emperor, who was also a Force user.

But the Imperial Knights of Fel didn’t exist just to protect their Emperor physically.  If the Emperor began to turn towards the dark side it was the duty of the Knights to remove him from power and try to turn him back to the light.  They protected him FROM THE DARK SIDE even though they weren’t even completely light side themselves.

The parallels here are astounding if Rey is destined to become a Gray Jedi, which the current direction of the movies does suggest.  White is by far the best color considering Star Wars meta.
