Okay how awesome would Stranger Things be if Max developed a weird kind of crush on Nancy…
And suddenly wanted to be around her all the time, and asked to hang out at Mike’s house whenever the gang is all together. And she just wants to know as much about Nancy as possible.
And it’s that weird time when you don’t realize it’s a crush but you’re just obsessed with this girl and she’s so cool and awesome and you wanna be like her (except you really just like her).
Why can’t we get a young gay experiencing her first flutters of confusion?
That’s a story I’d want to watch and would allow the women a little bit more agency and character growth on this show. Something that, besides Eleven, is lacking.
(Not that the Duffer Bros would be able to pull that off, but we can dream…)
I need this in season 3. Please.
(And just generally the female characters being allowed to actually interact with each other would be A+++.)

I wish dates didn’t have such strong romantic attachment to them.
Like, I wish I could go up to a friend of mine and be like, “Hey I want to take you to a nice restaurant. Let’s get dressed up fancy and go.”
We’d go have a fancyass dinner, but there’d be no romantic involvement.
I wish platonic dates were a common thing.
I would take each and every one of you on platonic dates.

My and my bestie dress up in our fanciest dresses a few times a year and go and get afternoon tea with champagne. We are FANCY as FUCK.
So yeah, we definitely do platonic dates.
