Meryl Streep is a treasure and one of us.

Okay but here’s where I have a problem with this. 

Imagine that wasn’t Chris Hemsworth. Imagine it was Beyonce. And instead of Meryl Streep it was..idk, Alec Baldwin. 

“I don’t know which one was Beyonce and which one was Solange. I just know they were both hot as fucking hell.” 

How fucking creepy does that sound? 

I know it’s different, because of the power imbalance and sexism….but there’s something about Meryl’s throwaway ‘oh I don’t know which was which’ that makes my skin crawl just a little.

being tired because you stayed up late is NOT the same as a chronically ill person being exhausted because their body literally isn’t working right.

I read somewhere that an able bodied person would have to stay up for 4 days to experience the fatigue of the average person w chronic fatigue

Went to the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe’s website to find their DIRECT Paypal donation link. They’re using funds for legal funds and to provide basic needs to the protesters in Standing Rock. I’m broke as hell but donated all I could to them. I know in times like this it’s hard to trust random GoFundMe’s and such in case some jackass is using a fake cause to scam people. So yeah, a direct link is awesome.

Oh and I really really try to avoid, like… manipulative language or guilting or stuff but I really do want to gently encourage sharing this. Even if you can’t donate (which is understandable, we’re all struggling, god knows there’s a lot of donate buttons I’ve shared without being able to click for myself)… it’s a very important cause. This thing at Standing Rock… this is historic. This is history blatantly and cruelly repeating itself. This is a dark and defining moment for us. So even helping raise awareness, even just a dollar or so, will help the protesters and hopefully give them the win they desperately need.
