The Cryptids will do this to me if they think I’m not getting out of bed in a timely manner. I’ll be lying there on my side and all of a sudden a little face will pop over the edge of the bed and a little paw will gently pap my arm. And then little claws will gently, geeeeeently begin raking my arm until I try to pet them, at which point they will run just far enough away that I’d have to get out of bed to pap them back.
I don’t mind the faceboops I get some mornings.
It’s the faceboops at 4am because Someone wants me to pet him and let him lick my knuckles that I am less fond of.
