The younger generation doesn’t know about glomping? How very sad.
Glomps are anime-style tackle-hugs. They should, of course, only be practiced on those who want them, but *glomp* used to be a standard affectionate greeting online.
I still use this. Sometimes I *tacklepounce* but with friends I’ve known a long time/am close to? Yeah, they get glomped.
