I love that age when little girls get really weird and mystical and savage
Like nine through eleven years old, those are some weird years for us
When I was 9-10 I read The Egypt Game and The Headless Cupid, taught myself hieroglyphics, and decided to practice witchcraft
Same really
I was living my best life playing Persephone in a drama class mini-play, reading either an ex-libris book of greek mythology, or the latest goosebumps or point horror. I was a wonderfully complex and savage little puppy who was making spells and potions with mud and twigs in the back corner of the playground.
