I’m gonna see it after Christmas and I’ve seen so many different opionions. Is it considered “bad” because of “too much” poc representation? I’ve seen a lot of hate for Rose Tico.
That is exactly the reason lots of people don’t like it. I think there are legit reasons for not liking it but I think a lot of antipathy to it boils down to a couple of factors. Even my stepdad couldn’t give more than vague “Nobody likes the story” commentary and here is why “nobody” (white male geeks, who are the only ones who count) likes it.
