Obi-Wan hand crafted toys for Luke, leaving them on the remains of Shmi’s grave for Beru to find and give to the boy. Always working to make each one better than the last.Is content just knowing that they make Luke happy, that they touch on that part of him that longs to fly, that Obi-Wan sees this sweet little boy and loves him enough to make toys for him. This entire thing is said with such love and affection, he’s so happy to see Luke enjoying his toys.It’s so simple and yet I’m reduced to tears because, no matter what the galaxy took away from Obi-Wan, no matter how it rewarded everything good he did with betrayal and pain, Obi-Wan Kenobi continued to love and to give more. He continued to love.
