Some of your favorite movie SFX and how they were inspired
I need to find a foley artist so I can study their brain. It must be a wonderful state of mind.

I always wanted to know a foley artist. Sound effects are fascinating
okay but what about the squeak on the end of the door opening in star trek? Was that a paper noise too?
(fun bonus fact; there is a feature all about the foley artists on the dvd for Blade: Trinity. The sound of vampires crumbling to dust is, in part, someone crushing pinecones wearing gardening gloves.)
