There’s an old legend that a birthmark
or defect indicates the spot where you

I’ve had two bald spots above both temples since birth (don’t know if it can be classed as a birthmark).

it’s faded now but when I was born I had a ‘v’ shaped mark on my forehead. My mum joked that someone had stamped me for her (her first name begins with ‘V’; I am adopted).
