Hear me out for a moment - does anyone else think they’ve either made the drinks MUCH stronger over the last couple of episodes, or started to let them have more?
Willam and Alaska on Race Chaser talk a lot about how season 4 is the reason for a lot of the restrictions now imposed upon queens, most notably the inability to visit each other in the hotel and the drink limit in Untucked. Even in the first couple of episodes, most of the queens seemed relatively controlled compared to recently.
Cut to episode 6 and 7, where the queens seem very quick to anger over relatively minor shit? Wigs, someone else’s video etc… it’s a common tactic in reality TV contests (most notably Big Brother and the like) to give contestants alcohol when they want to stir shit up, and this was the first episode this season where multiple queens looked visibly tipsy. Brooke and Shuga in particular were very different to their usual calm demeanours, and of course, there were the queens who seriously went OFF and said things unlike themselves to queens they generally got on well with.
Shenanigans, WOW. I call shenanigans.
