“Y’all are missing the whole ass point they’re not saying white people cant sing the music or enjoy the genre they just want white people to ACKNOWLEDGE where the music really originates. Bc so many ppl misrepresent the music as “Irish folk music” or whatever else when Hoizer himself says how he’s singing for a genre that black people created”
