I want to write a fic where Lilo goes to college and her roommate is Boo from Monsters Inc. Boo is the first person to think Stitch is adorable and cuddly, and Lilo is the first person not to act like “Mike Wazowski” was a weird name for a goldfish. They get on like a house on fire which is kind of bad for Nani’s blood pressure.

But then one night they wake up in the middle of the night because something is in their closet. And the door starts to creak open so Stitch tackles whoever (whatever) is in there. They fall back into the closet, the door slams shut… and when Lilo runs over and opens it there’s nothing but an empty closet.

Then Boo tells Lilo all about this weird thing that happened to her when she was a kid, and how no one ever believed her but she knows it was real.

And cue Lilo and Boo busting into the Monster world to rescue Stitch and wreaking mad havoc in the process.

SEE THIS IS A WORTHY SEQUEL

This needs to happen

Petition for the movie to be hand-drawn in Lilo and Stitch’s style when they’re in the human world, and computer animated once they go through the door into the monster world.

OMG. This. Changes. Everything.

Reblogging for my followers who might have trouble remembering whether or not they’ve taken their medicine!

OH MY GOD, THIS WILL HELP ME SO MUCH. I GET SO SCARED WHEN I DON’T KNOW IF I JUST TOOK MY MEDS TWICE.

THANK YOU, I’M ABOUT TO CRY.

Let me share with you guys a product that super helps me remember if I took my meds or not (because while the above is great, I still would manage to confuse myself):

They count as soon as you put the top back on. So if I don’t know if I’ve taken my medication for the day, I can check the cap to see how long ago I opened the container! It’s brilliant!

(This was inspired by listening to pop punk power ballads in my car before work. Light sexual situations. Passing mentions of battles. Not the best but hey drabbles are fun.)

“Kiss?” Chirrut asks, coming to a stop directly in front of Baze, planting his staff securely in the sand of the training yard, grinning like a fool. It’s a grin that only gets wider, brighter, as he watches Baze blink rapidly, flush staining his cheeks, which he tries to hide by ducking his head, looking at the ground. Losing has never been something Chirrut takes gracefully, which he proves even more by using his finger to tip Baze’s face back up so he will look at him. “Just for luck, of course,” he adds with a wink that could easily make the declaration out to be a joke the way that everything he says can be a joke to those who don’t know him well.

I am desperately trying to avoid being dragged kicking and screaming into the rogue one fandom but I just can’t help myself when Sara’s putting out drabbles and fic like it’s going out of style. And every single one of them rips holes in my chest. Ugh.

I heard this, and I’m gonna check if it’s true, that if you were not an actor, you would like to be a librarian. Is that true?

she emotionally manipulated a man so strung-out and wracked w/ the very clear symptoms of severe PTSD to continue fighting (even when in the scene leading up to this he was clearly incapable of doing even that) against his will

Name three other scenes, hell name two, where she shows manipulative or deceitful tendencies. And you don’t get to use her training behind her mothers back, because frankly there’s not a single person in the world who hasn’t done that at least once.

You know, of all the things about this movie, his part was the strangest. Like, it seemed like he was going to have an arc - he’s the best sniper around, he’s too traumatized by PTSD to shoot, the natural next step to that should have been a scene where his sniping saves someone’s life but it never comes. I mean, sure he stays and fights the last battle but they never really show that he’s this amazing sniper like they claim.

Okay but like… people in real life don’t just miraculously get over PTSD.  He probably WAS an amazing sniper, one Steve had worked with and that Steve a) knew would be available, and b) hoped would be able to push through and snipe anyway.

But he wasn’t able to push through.  He fought, yes, but he wasn’t able to snipe.  Diana believing in him, and his desire to do the right thing under it all, these things were likely strong motivators in his actions in the latter parts of the film, but they didn’t cure his PTSD because PTSD doesn’t work that way.

Just because it’s a common narrative trope doesn’t mean that it’s at all accurate.  And just because a character doesn’t miraculously and dramatically overcome their trauma at the end of the film doesn’t mean that character didn’t have an arc.  His arc was one that so so so many soldiers went through in WWI - deep-rooted trauma that would stay with them for the rest of their lives, that no one would talk about and that most people considered to be a failing on the part of the traumatized soldier.

@taliasturm: right, what a horrible thing to do, emotionally manipulate a man with severe PTSD who thinks that therefore he’s nothing but a liability into believing that maybe he still has worth and is still valued by his friends even if he can’t be in combat anymore

she just straight up told him “we still want you with us even if you don’t fight,” how did you miss that

Here it is, the cherry on the sundae, the incontrovertible proof that Joss Whedon does not understand Wonder Woman and never will and should not be allowed to touch anything that involves her and also this screenplay should have been burned and all digital copies placed on a single hard drive that was then passed repeatedly in front of a massive electromagnet:

“Strong women are always mean because any woman who had some trace of a backbone has dumped me”

What??? This is wholesome! Diana can’t understand why the child just doesn’t climb the tree herself like you know the Amazons would? Because that’s all she’s ever known?? And climbing a tree isn’t a big deal to her?? So she wouldn’t understand why it would be a big deal for the child?? Y'all reach I swear! Let some love into your heart and stop trying so hard to be offended!

No, Wonder Woman has all the time in the world for young children and that is film canon and comics canon and even cartoon canon! Diana of Themiscyra, daughter of Hippolyta, Amazon and God-killer, would have leapt into that tree, restored the cat to its girl, asked the girl the cat’s name, spent some time petting the cat, showed the girl her shield and let her lift it with only slight assistance, and then coached the girl in tree-climbing until she could scale its branches with speed and grace.

Joss Whedon is incapable of even imagining these kinds of interactions between female characters.

Girl:Lady? My cat is stuck in that tree.Diana: *smiling encouragingly* Climb it.Girl: *considers for a moment* But I can’t. My mom told me not to climb the trees so I don’t hurt myself. I got a scrape on my chin last time. I had to get stitches. See? *She shows Diana her battle scar proudly* I only cried a little. Diana: *impressed* Such a grave wound! You acted very bravely. I will retrieve your pet as a favor to such a proud young warrior. Girl: *laughs* Thanks, lady!

Fixed it.

The two best additions to this post. :3

it’s the word ‘dismissive’ that really seals the deal for me. Diana is never dismissive; she loves, with every fibre of her being.

As someone who loves my son Steve Rogers, I have to say that he could never kick Diana’s ass, like literally, and also he would never do that, because Steve Rogers would grow up idolising the mysterious hero from WW1, and would probably swoon if he got to meet her, would call her “ Your Majesty” unironically, until Diana has to literally punch him to make him stop, and even then, he’d call her “Ma'am” with the utmost respect, and also he’d follow her to Hell and back without blinking.

The worst part of Pride each year is riding the subway late at night and seeing the gay guys, mostly the ones riding by themselves, slowly take off their rainbow stickers and beads and what-not in preparation for their walk alone in their neighborhood, doing their best to prevent the off-chance of being jumped. I saw one guy with a flag in his bag turn it upside down so it wouldn’t poke out.

So yeah, fuck that heterosexual pride day nonsense.

This is the saddest god damn thing I’ve read in awhile, mostly because I literally remember peeling my stickers off on my way home too for this reason

Yep. I went home after pride slightly drunk and with a headache; but I still took the time to put my wig in my bag, to take off my rainbow makeup at my friend’s before I went home.
